How is it calculated?

Pick a country. For Turkey, the first 2 digits are the province code (01–81). For other countries you get typical format, currency, and an approximate FX conversion. Not an owner/registration lookup.

TR: kod = plaka[0..1] → il; FX: tutar × kur

Example

34 ABC 123 → İstanbul; Almanya + 100 EUR → TRY.

Guide

Decodes Turkish province codes from the first two plate digits and shows foreign plate formats with currency tips. Not an owner/registration lookup; input is not stored.

How Turkish province codes work

Standard TR plates start with a two-digit province code (01–81). Example: 34 → Istanbul. The tool maps the code to the province and can hint at city fuel pages. Letter/number blocks do not reveal ownership.

Foreign plates and FX tips

For selected countries you see a typical format, currency, and an approximate TRY conversion when a live rate is available. Useful for travel budgeting alongside the currency converter.

Tips

  • For Turkey, enter a plate starting with the province code.
  • For information only—not an official registry query.
